Notify is the best way for districts to communicate to all stakeholders. It allows principals to communicate with staff. It allows schools to get their message directly to the people who need to know and who want to know what's going on in your campus. Notify Mobile puts that power in your pocket.
Logging into Notify Mobile
To get started, download the app "SchoolStatus Notify" from the Apple App store. Login and create a pin code. Any four digit pin that you can remember will work.
Composing Messages and Selecting Audience
Review Notify messages that have been sent once you log in. Or click on the plus icon on the top right to create a new message.
When creating a new Notify message, first choose the audience of the message.
The audience may include:
- Contacts (Parents) for the entire district (if district access is available to the user), specific schools, grades, or groups. Note that ONLY Preferred Contacts will receive emergency and non-emergency Notify messages. Emergency Notify messages will be sent to Preferred Contacts even if they have blocked messages from the district (but non-emergency messages will not override blocked settings).
- Staff members can be selected as an audience.
Once the audience is selected tap Next.
In the Compose screen, first choose if the message is an Announcement or an Emergency message.
Then choose the delivery method of the message: Text, Call, Email, or any combination of those.
When recording a audio message for a Call with Notify, please allow access to the phone's microphone.
When the message is composed, a Next button will appear on the bottom of the screen. Click Next to continue.
Sending Messages
Messages can be delivered immediately or scheduled for later.
When choosing to schedule a message for later, first choose the date, then set the time for delivery.
.
Finally, confirm the message will be sent to the correct audience, with the correct message, at the correct time and tap Send Message.
Check the Status of a Message
From the landing screen, tap a message.
Message stats will be at the top of the message, and messages can be listened to by tapping play.
