Export your User list. SPOC users have a feature called User Export, and clicking it on your left-side menu within User Management will download a spreadsheet of your user accounts. I like to import this downloaded data into Google Sheets, because it makes it easy to invite team members to work with you in real time, because today is the future and we are already there.
Open Google Sheets. You'll need a Google or Gmail account, which gives you access to Google Drive. From the Google Home page, login to your Google account, and click the cube icon to open Google apps. Then, start a new blank spreadsheet.
Import your data. Click File, then Import.
You'll see a window pop up; click Upload.
In your Downloads folder, you should have a .csv file that starts with SchoolStatus and includes your district number and the date.
Select or drag and drop that file to put it in your Upload window.
Pro Tip: Copy the title now, so you can paste it later.
You'll see the name of the file appear on your Import Location window. Choose "Replace spreadsheet" and "Detect automatically."
Click Import to put the data in your Google Sheet.
Pro Tip: Paste your title now at the top your sheet, if the import didn't add a title automatically.
Woohoo! You did it! Okay... now what? Click here to learn how to trick out your User Export, so you can learn more about your accounts.
