Our Voice Admin feature allows the district SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) to modify the calling options for the district and/or alter the message a parent or guardian will hear when they receive a call placed through SchoolStatus.
To begin making these modifications, click Voice Admin on your left side menu. Let's get started!
Enable Calling:
Calling can be enabled or disabled by clicking Yes or No. When calling is enabled, each user can modify their ability to receive calls within the Settings of their account. Once selected, click Save Settings at the bottom right to save your changes.
Call Recording:
You can enable or disable Call Recording by clicking Yes or No. Enabling this feature will allow all calls made through SchoolStatus to be recorded and a transcription option available on the Student Card - Engagements. Once selected, click Save Settings at the bottom right to save your changes.
Greeting Message:
You can modify the Greeting Message a parent or guardian will hear when they receive a call from SchoolStatus to make it more district-specific. The standard recording states, "Powered by SchoolStatus. Calls are recorded". In the box provided, you can just type the message you want to be said before our standard recording. **NOTE** Only type the message you want to be said before the standard recording "Powered by SchoolStatus. Calls are recorded". Once your message is typed out, click Listen to Greeting to preview your new Greeting Message. Click Save Settings at the bottom right to save your changes.
