Texting a Student Contact
To send a direct Text Message to a student contact, you can either search for the student to view their Student Card or click Messages at the bottom right of your account. From the Student Card, click Contacts, find the contact you'd like to text, and click the text icon below their name.
*Note: Contacts must be listed in the district/school student information system with a phone number to appear as a contact. Contact your district administrator to add or update student contacts.
**Note: If the text icon isn't "clickable," that means the phone number can't receive text messages.
Reply to a Parent's text
SchoolStatus will alert you when you receive a message from a parent contact. At the bottom right of your account, a red alert icon will appear over Messages. Once you click on Messages, the new message will appear in the dialogue box. The unread or new message will be highlighted differently from the messages you sent or previously viewed. Click on the highlighted message to view and reply to the parent, as well as add attachments and translate the message if needed.
Check the status of a Text Message
