When you are ready to send a Broadcast Message:
-
First, choose your audience; whether that’s a Class, Student Group, or custom Individual Contacts.
-
In this example, we’ll use Student Groups. On the next page, add the Student Groups available to you, then click Create Broadcast when you’re finished.
-
In the Composer window, compose your message and include any additional links or attachments as needed.
-
To add a URL to your message, click + Add Links, paste the URL, and click Add. Repeat as needed to include multiple links.
After adding the link, it will appear in the attachment counter at the bottom of the box. You can remove it at any time by clicking the trash can icon.
-
To add attachments, click the + Add Attachments button and repeat as needed.
These are the supported file types: PDF, PNG, JPG, MP3, MP4, or MOV. Each file can be up to 20 mb in size.
For accessibility purposes, you can also edit the file names and enter alt text for images.
-
Choose whether to send your Broadcast Message as an SMS text or email.
- Finally, review your recipients, translation settings, attachments, and communication channel. If everything looks correct, click Send Broadcast.
