As a reminder, per the MDE, all Accountability data is embargoed from the media & the public until approved by the State Board of Education, typically in October.
*Represents estimated release dates.
1 - Assessment Score Reports Released - June 27, 2022 - RELEASED
When scores are released from the state testing vendor, in this case, Questar/NWEA and DRC, SchoolStatus accesses those reports directly from the vendor to import scores into SchoolStatus. It's important at this stage that we review the structure of the data to ensure it is error-free. Typically from the release of those scores, approximately 72 business hours later, our Sneak Peek Module will be available to district-level users.
My Data Isn't Showing. What gives?
If data access has been granted to SchoolStatus, we import data on the district's behalf. Alternatively, some districts download the files and securely send them directly to us via upload.schoolstatus.com. Never email files to SchoolStatus directly. Only use the secure provision portal or upload.schoolstatus.com for file transfers.
2 - Sneak Peek Module Released - June 30, 2022
What you can expect in SchoolStatus: Sneak Peek - Estimated total points for:
- Proficiency:
- ELA

- Growth:

- LPS Math
Not Included with this Release:
- Graduation Rate
- Acceleration
- CCR (College & Career Readiness)
- EL Component (if applicable)
No projected letter grade will be provided at this time. Results will only be a total of all the projected points available. Scores of transferring students (whether in or out) will not be included until the SLAIF is released.
3 - Full Academic File (FAY) Released* - July 25, 2022
SchoolStatus will import FAY files from Sharepoint or from files sent securely to us. Never email files to SchoolStatus. Only use the secure provision portal or upload.schoolstatus.com for file transfers.
4 - Sneak Peek Refined* - August 1, 2022
When the FAY file becomes available from the MDE, SchoolStatus will then import the data for display in the Sneak Peek Module. Keep in mind, we are able to know which students are in your score report and SHOULD NOT count due to not meeting FAY. What we cannot know is which students do not show on your score report that SHOULD count.
5 - SLAIF (Student Level Accountability Information File)* - August 2022
Upon release of the SLAIF, SchoolStatus will import that data into the module and REPLACE the Sneak Peek Module. This requires Sharepoint access or files sent securely to us. Never email files to SchoolStatus. Only use the secure provision portal or upload.schoolstatus.com for file transfers.
