REMEMBER:
This module is displaying assessment data recently released from the testing centers under contract with MDE. In an effort to let you know where you stand according to the MDE Accountability Model, we have provided this module as a "Sneak Peek". These Results WILL change as we are provided more data from MDE. Please consult the MS Accountability Process at SchoolStatus article for details on the overall process.

Sneak Peek Overview
We provide this module to assist customers as they review individual test scores according to the state’s Accountability Model. Results presented in Sneak Peek are estimates from initial state assessment scores and do not reflect final ratings approved by the State Board of Education. In general, this is a process of refining results as more data is released over time; thus, results may vary dramatically as more information becomes available.
The SLAIF (Student Level Accountability Information File) is required for us to provide the more complete Preliminary Results Estimate. Growth and LPS estimates necessitate access to baseline data from 2019 (to estimate growth for 10th graders) and 2021. Click here for more information on the Accountability Process at SchoolStatus.

Noteworthy Updates, Unique to 2021-2022
Per MDE, proficiency and growth calculations will include all high school, end-of-course (EOC) subject area assessments taken during the 2021-2022 school year, regardless of grade level (i.e., banking is paused and all tests taken this year are included in calculations; banking resumes in 2022-2023).
Per MDE, 2021 early EOC testers (students who tested before the 10th grade) are excluded from proficiency and growth calculations this year. This will impact both Proficiency and Growth leading to extraneous results for schools with grade 12, particularly in LPS calculations.
Per MDE, 10th graders with EOC assessments for 2021-2022 that do not have a prior year score due to the suspension of testing in 2019-2020, will receive a growth calculation using the 2018-2019 data as the baseline value.
Who Can Access this Data
Per our policy, SchoolStatus defers to the district SPOC to assign module access to the Accountability Module. However, student-level assessment data will be visible via the Assessment module and the Student Card.
Be sure to check back as we continue to add more data as it's released to us. To access MDE's Accountability Communication Toolkit, click here.
