It's the beginning of a new school year, but when you log in, your student rosters don't seem accurate! What's going on?
SchoolStatus syncs schedules nightly.
At the beginning of a new school year, your rosters may look incorrect at first, because SchoolStatus updates at night, and your schedules and rosters may be changing rapidly. We recommend waiting until things settle down before reaching out to SchoolStatus. However, if it's been a few days, or if you see that changes in the SIS are not resulting in SchoolStatus changes, we want to know! Reach out to us at help@schoolstatus.com and we'll check everything out, just to make sure that syncs are occurring as they should.
Check your SIS.
If you are seeing students who are no longer enrolled in your Courses, but they were in the past, please check your SIS. You may want to confirm with your district or school SIS administrator that withdrawn students have already been officially unenrolled in your SIS and are no longer appearing there, and that at least one nightly SchoolStatus sync has occurred. That's the first thing we'll ask when you reach out to us.
Let us hear from you!
If your enrolled students are not visible in SchoolStatus, contact us! We will ask you for a few examples, so you may want to review your rosters and have the names of a few students ready.
