We are very excited to release the first SchoolStatus dashboards specifically designed for NYC schools. These dashboards allow teachers and administrators to monitor family communications.
How to locate Dashboards
These reports are located in the Reporting area of the Utilities menu on the left.
Click on the folder at the upper right.
Choose the Group Folder.
Click on the report name.
Dashboard Overviews
Teacher Overall Communication
This dashboard displays counts of all communications by SchoolStatus users.
Teacher Communication
There is no need to keep a phone log when we can do it for you! This dashboard provides details by teacher on each communication with families, allowing teachers to spend time working with families rather than logging their work.
Student Communication
This dashboard provides details by student on each communication with families.
Dashboard Details
General Navigation
- Icons at the upper right
Reload the data. Use every time a filter is applied.
Hide filters.
Download the data to Excel and Reset Filters - will remove any filters applied to the report.
Teacher Overall Communications
Columns
- Teacher: Teacher or Administrator name, ordered by Last Name, First Name
- Call - count of calls made through SchoolStatus
- Email - count of emails sent through SchoolStatus
- Text - count of texts sent through SchoolStatus
- Video - count of video calls made through SchoolStatus
Filters
- Date Range: Choose the date range for the call log. The default is the current school year.
- Teacher: The staff member who placed the communication
- Communication Method: Choose call, email, text or video
NOTE: When choosing a filter, click the Reload button [] to filter the data.
Charts
- Colored bars indicate a comparative measure of usage within the school in the communications category by the teacher. This does NOT indicate a target.
Teacher Overall Communications
Columns
- Teacher: Teacher or Administrator name, ordered by Last Name, First Name
- Student: Student Name
- SIS Id: Student ID
- Contact: The contact called or messaged
- Relationship: Relationship of the contact to the student
- Communication Method: call, email, text or video
- Date: Date the call was made or message sent
- Time: Time the call was made or the message sent
- Call Length: If a call or video, the length of time will be displayed

- Date Range: Choose the date range for the call log. The default is the current school year.

- Student: The student whose family was contacted

- Communication Direction: The percentage of incoming vs outgoing communications displayed in the table
- Communication Method: The percentage by communication method displayed in the table
Student Communications
Columns
- Student: Student Name
- SIS ID: Student ID
- Teacher: Teacher or Administrator name, ordered by Last Name, First Name
- Contact: The contact called or messaged
