For our Oklahoma users, we have a brand new module just for your OSTP! You can find the OSTP module under Assessment on your left menu. (If you don't have the module, contact your district admin to request access.)
Strength by Subject
This section displays visually the distribution of proficiency by subject area. Hover over any of the sections to display the actual number.
Performance by Grade
This section displays visually the distribution of proficiency by grade. Hover over any of the sections to display the actual number. Click on any of the proficiency levels in the key to remove them from the graph. Click them again to add them.
Use Drop-downs to Filter
For those with district-wide access, filter to individual schools by using the drop-down. Also, use the subject area dropdown to filter those.
Important Note: Both the Strength by Subject and Performance by Grade sections display data for last year. In other words, where the students were when they took the test. The Student Detail section shows the students where they are enrolled today. So, teachers who taught students in the tested areas last year, will not see those students here (unless those students are on their roster again this year). Instead, he or she will see the students on their roster this year and the students' scores from the 2017 test.
Student Detail Filters
You can filter by any of the column headings in the Student Detail section. Click the column you want to filter from. Then click the funnel icon.
To filter for 'all those students who did not score a proficient', select Show only rows where and select is false. Click OK.
Now, your chart will reflect only those student who were not proficient. Select Export to export your filtered results to CSV, PDF, or XLS.
Use the custom filters to filter by grade, specific students, or even ranges of data such as 'OPI less than 275'.
Any student name is clickable and will take you to the student's Student Card, where you can see all the data SchoolStatus has for that student.
Tip: because the OSTP scores are from the 2016-17 school year, make sure you click the year drop-down and select 2017 to see OSTP scores on the student card.
Now that you're armed with the data, make the call! Call parents from the Student Card.
