Your SchoolStatus landing page will vary depending on your function at your school or district. If you have access to multiple schools, when you login you'll see My Schools first. Let's take a look at what you'll see and what you can do from here.
Once you login, you should be greeted by a dashboard or page that looks similar to this. Please note, for this demonstration, we will be using a Demo Account.
At this screen, you have a few options. You can clearly see all schools that you have access to. Each school panel will also show you up-to-date data for Latest ADA, ADA for Month, Latest Infraction Count, and Infractions for Month. SchoolStatus makes this important data easy to see so you don't have to dig for it.
You can Filter this data as well. To filter, click the headings like School or Latest ADA and a Filter option will appear. You can read more about Filters here.
If you like what you see and you want to share the data with a colleague, or you just want to save the data to your computer, we've added a small drop-down button for you to Export the data into a CSV or XLS file. Here is what that button looks like before it is clicked. For more help on Exporting data, you can click here.
Here is what you'll see after clicking the Export button.
Choose the filetype you wish to Export, either CSV or XLS, and the file will start to download. Once downloaded, you can click it to open the file.
So, you have your data and you're happy, but what else can you see on this My School module? Well, if you look to your right, you'll also see Recent Engagements. This is where you'll see the a feed of recent calls and texts between the teachers and parents, within your scope.
Of course, just like with the ADA data, you can Export this information by clicking the button in the top right of the page. This will allow you to save the information to your computer, just as before.
From the Recent Engagements, you can click any of the items in bold, and it will take you to that student's engagement history on his or her Student Card.
Of course, you can also Filter here as well. Just click on When or Activity and the Filter options will appear, allowing you to manipulate how you see the data. Again, if you need more information on Filters, please click here to review that help article.
That's it! Now you know how to get the most out of your My Schools module. If you need any help with this or anything else, you can contact us at email@example.com and we'll be happy to help you.
