Data for Doing is a core philosophy at SchoolStatus and this extends to teacher observations. Feedbak is not just a tool for efficiently delivering your observations, it is useful for analyzing data of your teaching staff.Feedbak can take those passive observations and turn them into actionable data for staff development. When using the Teacher Growth Rubric and hashtags, Feedbak allows you to see both the total strengths and areas for growth of your teaching staff as a whole.
Get Started Analyzing Your Staff with Feedbak
To get started, click on Feedbak from the menu on the left in SchoolStatus
Then click on Observers from the left menu.
From the observers screen, you can see a snap shot of how many formal and informal observations your school has completed. It also displays the average time of those observations.
You may search for a specific observer as well as list the observers in ascending or descending order by how many observations they have completed.
Click on the Analysis button next to a school.
Note: If you are a district level user, you will see multiple schools. A building level administrator will generally only see their school.
Now click on the Select Rubric button.
Then choose the Teacher Growth Rubric, which is abbreviated *TGR in the list.
From this screen you can see the total growths, strengths, and standards not observed across all observations completed so far.
Click Next Domain to view Domain II.
Let's look closer at an individual standard. We can see that so far our observations would indicate our staff has totaled 3 growths and 2 strengths in standard 3.3.
Data for Doing can now be a part of your observation and analysis of the Teacher Growth Rubric through Feedbak. This is a powerful tool for planning future professional development and maximizing the growth of your teaching staff.
