If you are having trouble using your Feedbak 2 app for iPad, try these simple steps:
Load Data, Update Data
If you aren't seeing the teachers you need this year, or if you need to sync your iPad activity with your web account, try Load Data and Update Data as a first step.
First, save any open work. Click Load Data, followed by the green Update Data button. You should see something that looks like a cube, followed by a notice that several items are starting to load, and then that they are finished loading. If you don't see these steps, check your internet connectivity.
Load Data/Update Data imports any new data from the SchoolStatus website and sends work that you've created on your iPad to your web account. We recommend that you use Load Data/Update Data when starting the day, between observations, and at the end of the day. It's also a good safeguard before performing any type of iOS updates or if you like to alternate screens between the Feedbak app and a browser window.
Make sure both your app and your iPad are up-to-date
Update your app
Make sure you are using the most current Feedbak 2 app (it will be a gold "F" logo on your dashboard). We push updates to your app, so your version should be higher than "2.6.0v4" shown above.

Update your iPad's iOS (Operating System)
Open your iPad Settings icon, and look for a red notification bubble that tells you that you have an update to install.
(Tip: If you are curious, it's easy to find out what your iPad's most current iOS should be- simply search the internet for "iPad iOS update." You may need to know what version of iPad you have; that information in your iPad's Settings, under General. You can see the gray Settings icon, above.)
Once you've updated, you'll need to restart. Power your iPad off, wait for 10 seconds, then power on.
(This closes apps and browser windows, so just to be on the safe side, use Load Data/Update Data to save any pending work before you restart.)
Clear last year's work from your Feedbak app
If you are seeing last year's observations or aren't seeing this year's teachers, you may need to clear your completed Feedbaks from last year.
From within your iPad app, go to Settings and click the green Clear Completed Feedbaks button.
This will open a confirmation screen that asks, "Are you SURE?"- scary, we know! If you have just used the Load Data/Update Data button, no data will be lost. If you haven't, tap "No" to leave the screen, and complete step one, above, before proceeding.
